The Tennant S20 Compact Ride-On Sweeper delivers mid-size sweeping performance with compact agility—built to excel both indoors and outdoors, even under tough conditions. Equipped with a flexible cleaning path of 1,270 mm to 1,575 mm (depending on whether one or two side brushes are fitted), the S20 cleans large areas efficiently and reduces the number of passes needed. Its tubular main broom is 910 mm wide, supported by 580 mm diameter side brushes, allowing it to reach tight corners and edges.

With a debris hopper capacity of 310 litres (≈11 ft³), the S20 handles heavy loads—it can carry up to 340 kg of material in the polyethylene version or 318 kg in the steel version—and boasts a 60 in (≈1,525 mm) dump height with 14 in (≈355 mm) dump reach for easy emptying. The machine’s versatile propulsion options include LPG, diesel, gasoline, or battery power, each paired with strong forward speeds up to 8.0 mph (≈12.9 km/h) in the three-wheel drive configuration and about 3.0 mph (≈4.8 km/h) in reverse. It can climb slopes of up to 10° (≈17.6%) when loaded and 14° (≈25%) when empty.

Dust control is robust thanks to its three-stage SweepMax® system (Perma-Filter™, cyclonic pre-filter, and nanofibre canister filter), which captures sub-micron dust particles (≈0.5 microns) at around 99% efficiency. A high-speed vacuum fan (≈1.12 kW / 1.5 hp) running at ~6,480 rpm supports strong airflow while integrated mufflers and sound-attenuating design keep noise levels to ≈ 80-81 dBA in most configurations.

Operators benefit from a design focused on ease of maintenance and safety. No-tool, easy-open access covers simplify routine checks and service; durable Duramer™ hopper and steel T-beam frame construction protect the sweeper in harsh environments; and safety features include seat-occupancy sensors, Thermo-Sentry™, standard headlights and taillights, and optional overhead guards or bumpers. With an estimated coverage of up to 15,120 m² per hour, and a net weight (base battery version) around 1,110 kg, the S20 balances performance, durability, and operator efficiency in a compact ride-on platform.
