The Tennant T981 Ride-On Floor Scrubber is built for high-capacity cleaning in large indoor spaces, combining muscle, intelligence and efficiency. Available with either a 36-inch disk or a 30-inch cylindrical scrub deck, it offers flexibility to suit the job: whether tackling broad open floors or spaces needing edge-to-edge performance. Its 125-litre (33 gal) solution tank, paired with a 135-litre (36 gal) recovery tank, enables extended cleaning shifts without constant refilling, while lead-acid battery power delivers up to 6 hours of runtime under typical usage.

Engineered for throughput, the T981 covers up to 5,300 m²/hr under its disk configuration (approx. 4,300 m²/hr using the cylindrical deck), while applying up to 100 kg of down-pressure (disk) or 50 kg (cylindrical) to remove light-to-medium soil. With a sound level of about 72 dBA, it’s relatively quiet for its class. Operators benefit from simple, intuitive controls, fast brush changes without tools, and a no-tools squeegee attachment system for speedy maintenance and reduced downtime.

Built rugged, the T981 doesn’t compromise on maneuverability: a small turning radius and strong front traction motor help it climb grades up to 16%, suitable for ramps and inclines. Its durable parabolic squeegee and Linatex® blades ensure excellent water pickup, while large hose drains and visible tank gauges make post-use tasks cleaner and quicker.
